Meet Michele & Chris

WHO WE ARE

Skypups Pet Treats was born in Michele and Chris's Seattle kitchen in 2024, when they started making healthy treats for their beloved dogs, Sky and Bear. As avid hikers and outdoor enthusiasts, they wanted nutritious, portable treats to fuel their dogs' adventures throughout the Pacific Northwest.

What began as weekend experiments with a home freeze dryer and freshly caught salmon from Puget sound quickly gained a following for their small batches of treats with friends, family and neighbors. Word spread quickly. Chris has been fishing the PNW since he was a kid. His lifelong love for the water and commitment to sustainable fishing turned a hobby into something more. What began as a weekend project is now a growing small business built on transparency, quality and care-for pets and people.

Today, Skypups Pet Treats remains true to its founding mission: providing pets with the highest quality, nutrient-rich treats while supporting local Pacific Northwest suppliers and maintaining environmentally sustainable practices.

Our company

Established in 2024, Skypups Pet Treats has quickly become a trusted name in premium pet nutrition throughout the Pacific Northwest. We specialize in freeze-dried, single-ingredient treats and meal toppers made from salmon and chicken sourced in the Pacific Northwest.

Our small-batch production employs a gentle freeze-drying process that preserves the natural nutrients and flavor of our ingredients without the need for preservatives or additives. This commitment to purity makes our treats ideal for pets with allergies or sensitive digestive systems.

Skypups currently distributes to pet specialty stores at Outdoor Emporium in Seattle, with a growing e-commerce presence serving customers nationwide. We're proud to maintain direct relationships with regional fisheries and farms, ensuring the highest quality ingredients while supporting our Pacific Northwest economy.
